A1K9 Facilities
A1K9 Behaviour and Training Academy is set in the heart of the countryside, but is within easy reach, as we are just 5 minutes off junction 47 of the M4.
About the A1K9 Training Facilities
Gaynor Probert offers a range of courses every weekend at A1K9 Behaviour and Training Academy
She holds courses to suit all levels of ability. Gaynor has the specialist knowledge and techniques to help you to overcome any problems you may have when you train your dog.
Location
We are located in the Valley of Cwmdulais, just outside Pontarddulais, Swansea. It is sometimes called Rhododendron valley and it is at its most beautiful in the spring when all the rhododendrons are in full bloom.
Training Fields
Our training fields are extensive and they all offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. We have a wide variety of agility equipment for all sizes of dogs that is great fun for the owner to use with their dog. The ground is uneven with a climb, so unfortunately it isn't suitable for wheelchair users. There are toilets on site.
Parking
We have ample parking areas for many cars.
Wet-Weather Sessions
When the weather is against us, training moves indoors to Llys Nini Animal Centre (RSPCA), Penllergaer. Gaynor will confirm which venue your session is at.
Hospitality Cabin
We have a log cabin that is a hospitality area, and we are able to sit in comfort and warmth when having a discussion about your dog.
